Lutetium Ionization Energy

The Lutetium Ionization Energy is the energy required to remove from atom one mole of electrons with subsequent production of positively charged ion of Lutetium.
Lu -> Lu+ + e-
This process can be repeated many times, but the energy cost is increased dramatically. The general equation for the Lutetium is:
LuN+ -> Lu(N+1)+ + e-

Ionization Energy

Lu -> Lu1+ = 523.5 kJ/mol = 125.24 Kcal/mol
Lu1+ -> Lu2+ = 1340 kJ/mol = 320.57 Kcal/mol
Lu2+ -> Lu3+ = 2022 kJ/mol = 483.73 Kcal/mol
Lu3+ -> Lu4+ = 4360 kJ/mol = 1043.06 Kcal/mol
